Join us as we adventure into the fields and forest, inspiring creativity, fostering determination and resilience, promoting well-being, and enhancing connection to nature with themed weeks June - July.
With experienced staff and educators, low ratios, and safety measures, we prioritize a secure and nurturing learning environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated. We strive to meet individual needs met as much as possible, however please note due to the physical nature, terrain, remoteness, training, and pacing of camp programming (in a fully outdoor setting/all weather) we may not be the environment suited to serve every child’s needs safely and we encourage you to reach out if your child has a specific need or have any questions, please email camp@bloomsburyfarms.com

This week, the farm becomes our training ground for everyday heroes. Campers will create their own superhero identity, practice what it means to use strengths responsibly, and take on “missions” that require courage, kindness, and teamwork. Expect costume-making with simple materials, cooperative challenges in the woods, creative problem-solving, and story-building where every camper gets a chance to lead in their own way. The focus is less on ‘fighting’ and more on character: helping others, making good choices, and showing up for your team.
CAMP 2026 SEASON is here!
Fast-paced, team-based, and full of surprises, this week turns the whole property into an adventure course. Campers will work in teams to follow clue trails, tackle daily “legs” of the race, and complete a mix of physical challenges, puzzles, navigation games, and creative missions across fields, forest paths, and camp spaces. Each day blends movement with brainpower, and tasks are designed so every camper can contribute. It’s high energy with collaboration, cheering for your team, and learning to problem-solve together.
This is an immersive story week where the land itself becomes part of the plot. Campers step into a shared world with an unfolding legend, daily quests, and mysteries tied to the farm and forest around them. They’ll map trails, solve puzzles, build lore, and make choices as a group that shape what happens next. Some campers will love the roleplay, some will love the making and mapping, some will love the quiet creative pieces like writing, drawing, or designing artifacts for the story. P.S. If your camper joined Wildcraft last summer, this year’s experience will feel familiar in spirit but different in structure. This year’s Wildcraft is a re-imagined version of last summer’s camp, with a strong focus on shared story, lore, and cooperation. Adventure awaits…
A week for builders, artists, inventors, and kids who like to follow their own ideas. Campers will explore open-ended making in an outdoor studio setting, using natural materials, found objects, and simple tools to design, experiment, and problem-solve. Projects can shift day to day: sculpture, land art, painting, mixed media, simple builds, and creative challenges inspired by what we notice on the property. The emphasis is on curiosity and process over perfection, with lots of room for different ages and styles to create confidently.
This is our movement-and-team-spirit week, built for kids who love movement and games. Campers will rotate through relay races, field games, cooperative challenges, obstacle courses, and playful “Olympic-style” events designed for a wide range of abilities. We keep the tone upbeat and inclusive: effort, teamwork, and good sportsmanship matter most. Expect plenty of fresh air, adventure, laughter, and moments where kids discover they can do hard things with a team behind them.
This week blends storytelling and the natural world, with the farm as both inspiration and stage. Campers will write, illustrate, perform, and build stories in ways that fit their age and comfort level: comics, short scenes, puppet shows, skits, shared group tales, or mini books. We’ll also weave in classic tales, re-imagining them with outdoor settings, farm details, and new perspectives. Along the way, campers may gather story “ingredients” from the land (sounds, textures, plants, produce, chores, animal observations) to make their worlds feel real. It’s creative, flexible, and perfect for kids who like art, drama, writing, or imaginative play.
Folklore meets field guides in a week where imagination is grounded in the natural world. Campers will invent mythical creatures inspired by real animals and habitats on the property, then bring them to life through art, storytelling, movement, and roleplay. We’ll explore questions like: Where would your creature live here? What does it eat? What signs would it leave behind? How would you track it? This week invites big creativity while still building observation skills and a deeper connection to the land.
A hands-on week focused on teamwork, practical problem-solving, and outdoor confidence. Campers will learn age-appropriate survival skills through games and design challenges: navigating the farm together, building an ultimate shelter concept (leaves, mud, branches, and big ideas welcome), and testing what makes structures strong, dry, and comfortable. We’ll also explore water and flotation through model-building challenges, plus classic camp favorites like capture the flag, garden time, and journaling to reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and what they’d do differently next time. It’s active, thoughtful, and designed to make kids feel capable outdoors and learn new skills.
