Come join us for Little Sprouts! This class is designed for little ones (ages 1-3) and their guardians who are looking to explore the farm and forests of Bloomsbury at a more gentle pace. Chicken hugs, garden exploration, and puddle jumps abound. Our goals are to expose our smallest friends to formative social, sensory, and tactile experiences while empowering their language development. Our hope is for participating families to get to know one another and build community while learning alongside their little ones.
There is no pro-rated tuition for Little Sprouts. You may register for any session at any time as long as there is still space in the class. Every class runs 9am-11am with the opportunity for you to pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic after the session finishes each week.

FAQ
“WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?”
Little Sprouts is a very flexible, free flowing class experience based on the unique interests of the children in each session! Our goals are to expose our smallest friends to formative social, sensory, and tactile experiences while empowering their language development. Our hope is for participating families to get to know one another and build community while learning alongside their little ones! You can expect to start the morning with an exploratory project. When the project is over, we journey down the hill to visit the farm and the animals and plants who live there. We often finish out each session with story time! You are welcome to bring a sack lunch to enjoy down at the playground after the session is over.
“WHERE DO I GO?”
Follow this address to the farm: Bloomsbury Farm 9398 Del Thomas Road, Smyrna TN 37167
After you go through the double white gates, stay to the right up the big gravel hill. Take a right where the road makes a T at the red shed, and pull right into the little gravel parking lot. Walk down the wooden stairs and cross the road to meet your Little Sprouts teacher at the covered pavilion.
“WHAT DO I PACK?”
Dress yourself and your little one in layers/shoes that you are ready to walk in that will keep you both comfortable in whatever temperature/weather we are experiencing that day (sunshine, rain, cold, wind). Keep in mind that it is always possible that we will get wet, muddy, and encounter messy natural/crafting items such as tempera/watercolor paint, chicken/goat doo, air dry clay, dirt, mud, and glue. In other words…please anticipate a stain or two on clothing/shoes worn to Little Sprouts! Other things to bring include bug spray (for warmer months, a snack, water bottle, and an optional blanket for sitting on.
“WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS?”
You are welcome to join us for another morning on another day as a make-up! Please text us at 615-200-8072 at least a day before to let us know you’ll be coming!
“CAN I BRING family/friends aLONG?”
Lots of families reach out throughout the session asking if another guardian, grandparent, extended family member, or friend may tag along to class. This is most often possible! If the person is not already on your child’s safe pick-up list that was submitted in your registration, Please send us a text at 615-200-8072 at least one day in advance with these requests.
“WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD”
If the weather conditions are such that we need to cancel class (dangerous winds/storms), you will be notified at least one hour before the start of class at the latest. You may attend another morning session to make up your missed class.
If weather conditions aren’t dangerous, we will be out here - rain or shine! Puddle jumping is the best!
