1 guardian/adult, plus 1 child $150.
Each additional family member $50.
Who are the pollinators and what’s their job on the farm? In this three part workshop, we’ll head into the field to learn all about these winged wizards. Our adventures will require us to slow down and carefully observe bees, butterflies, and ladybugs at work. We’ll follow their buzzy trails and collect clues to help us solve the mystery of their methods. We’ll gather their favorite flowers and examine them to further understand and appreciate the special partnership between pollinators and plant life.
Finally, we’ll learn how we can support pollinators by creating and protecting outdoor spaces where they can thrive. You’ll receive native seeds to plant and engage in fun art projects that will provide pollinators with happy habitats and needed nourishment. You’ll leave each day with full hearts, dirty hands, and new ways to notice little living things that have great big jobs in nature.
Following the workshop, you are invited to make your way down to the Farm yard for Farm Friday 12-6:30. Bring a picnic, play, grab a drink or popsicle, and pick up fresh produce at the farm stand.
